About Us:
Our parents have taught us a great deal about generosity, compassion, and hard work all excellent qualities to have when making grants. Our mother, Lorene H. Reid, was a gifted teacher who spent her career making a difference in others lives. She strongly believes in education and hopes that by granting scholarships, our foundation will be helping to provide educational opportunities to help people improve their lives.
Our father, Glenn J. Reid, established the foundation in 2001 with funds from his automotive manufacturing company, Flexible Products, as well as using his private collection of historical models to open Museum Bronze. He is an extremely successful businessman with a fervent entrepreneurial spirit. His strong work ethic and generous character combined with our mothers vibrant curiosity, and passion for learning, are principles we use in operating the foundation, today.
